These are craft quality gems. No light reflection but they did jazz up a wiseman costume I made. I used plastic glue to adhere gem to a velvet cape. Glue is the only was to adhere, no holes for sewing. I'd recommend, just know what you are getting at that price.
These amethyst rhinestones are lovely. I got them to fill out some spots in a velvet Christmas tree I am making and I can't wait to see them mixed in with all my other jewelry bits.They are made of acrylic, so they aren't as sparkly as Austrian Crystals (made of glass) or cubic zirconia (manmade gemstones of zirconium dioxide), but they are hardly dull to look at. The color is a deep rich royal purple and it isn't something I have seen in many jewelry sets. The settings are nonexistent and only on the flat bottom side can you see a rim.These rhinestones are large enough that you could use hook and loop tape or some double sided tape to attach them to whatever surface you prefer.These are a great addition to your crafting supplies.
The Allstarco 40x30mm Purple Amethyst A06 Large Flat Back Octagon Acrylic Rhinestones are a great color. There are four jewels in this pack. They are made of acrylic (plastic), so they are not high quality rhinestones, but they are fine for our granddaughter to glue on a t-shirt, or some shoes. She likes them. Her mom says, "They are okay if she wants them on her shoes." So, I'm tickled pink - or purple in this case, I suppose. :*)
I love the size, the sparkle and beautiful purple color of these. So many crafty uses, I am going to put them on a witchy book cover. Great value.
Going to use these gems with a unit on Egypt. Children are going to make a necklace from a circle made from a paper plate. Students can watercolor the necklace, any color of their choice. When dry, the purple gems can be glued on . . . . and each child will have an Egyptian necklace.
